Baku / 17.08.17 / Turan: The Cabinet of Ministers increased the authorized capital of CJSC Azerbaijan Railways by 79 million 915 thousand manats or 11%.
According to the government"s decision of August 10, the company"s capital increased from 726.1 million to 806 million manats.
The authorized capital of state companies is increased by investing in their fixed assets.
The Azerbaijan Railways Company receives funds from the state budget for capital construction. The government receives hundreds of millions of dollars to modernize the country"s railway system. At the same time, contrary to the requirements of the law, the state railway company does not publish financial statements. -----08D
Baku / 17.08.17 / Turan: Vyacheslav Maltsev has been appointed the acting CEO of Carlsberg Azerbaijan, the company said. His term in office will start on September 1, 2017.
In this position, he will replace Viktor Semak, who since May 1, 2016 combined management of two companies - Carlsberg Azerbaijan and Carlsberg Kazakhstan.
Maltsev will temporarily act as General Manager of Carlsberg Azerbaijan with direct subordination to Jacek Pastushka, Executive Vice President of Carlsberg Group for Eastern Europe, and functional subordination to Rud Pedersen, Vice President for Finance in Eastern Europe, until the appointment of a permanent employee.
Before that Maltsev was the Director of the Operational Logistics and Customer Service Division of the region Siberia and the Far East of the company Baltika.
Candidates are searched externally for the position of the General Director of Carlsberg Azerbaijan. This appointment is part of the program of cross-regional short-term appointments.
Maltsev started his career in Carlsberg Group in 2007 as a national sales manager for non-beer brands at the Baltika headquarters. -------71D

The bank"s liabilities for the reporting period decreased by 32.976 million manats or 8.3% and amounted to 366.455 million manats.
The volume of deposits in the bank is 36.206 million manats (a decrease by 6.923 million manats or 16%).
The debt of VTB-Azerbaijan to the Central Bank has not changed, remaining at the level of 30 million manats.
The bank"s capital for the mentioned time increased by AZN 2.399 million or 6.6% and is 38.530 million manats.
The loan portfolio decreased by 39.375 million manats or 11%, amounting to 323.163 million manats.

The funds will be attracted for a period of 14 days, at an average weighted rate of 10.01% -14.99%.
