Baku / 02.11.17 / Turan: In 2017, the foreign exchange market declined, the Chamber of Accounts said in its conclusion to the draft budget for 2018.
In the conclusion, it is noted that the reduction was in the segment of the cash foreign exchange market.
"For the current period of 2017, 91 million US dollars was sold, whereas only in the first six months of 2016, 151 million dollars was sold. This is due to the stability of the manat."
The Chamber of Accounts noted that at the currency auctions of the Central Bank, where the State Oil Fund is also involved, the sale of foreign currency in comparison with the previous year decreased by 31%. -71D-
